I used to get mad about this, not anymore. Its not worth the stress and if they hit me they are going to pay. I just try to get out of their way.

Ever since I got the rapid fire tail lights. Less people ride my tail! As soon as you tap the break and they flicker people are not use to that and they back off. Also, I have turned on the hazard lights and they really back off then! They don't behave like normal haz lights.

I like your thinking. are you from texas?

Anywho a quick rev would do the trick usually for me! If not I go even slower to piss them off and then 'cut em off' I guess you can say when they try to haul a** on the other lane

well I drive MT so if I let it roll back a few times they get scared and give me space, but I have to do it a few times for them to get it. With that said, its more annoying when I am on a hill and they are all up on your bumper, then seem mad if you roll back the slightest. I guess that's what happens in a world of automatics, everyone assumes you drive one and are baffled otherwise .

I always wanted to install a water or oil sprayer on the back of my car for tailgaters.
When people tailgate my work truck in the winter, I try to ride in the slush to spray their car with spray and ice!

I think they all think they are NASCAR drivers and drafting.

Usually the tailgater is a little girl on a cell phone drinking a coffee and fixing her hair. Her mind far far away

In my younger years I had a BMW tail gate me in my 83 Z28 (RIP). I hit the brake with my left foot then punched the gas. He went side ways and I was giggling the rest of the ride home.

I have noticed since I got mine that people are definitely closer. I will say though, that since the rear end of this car is so short, maybe they were always that close and it just looks closer now.

I used to get pissed, but now I just get out of the way and let them go on with their stress filled drive, still trying to get "there" "first". Always wonder who they are racing.

People do go nuts in Austin though, and I get it. I have lived in LA County/Orange County CA, Houston, TX, DFW, TX and Austin, and Austin is actually the worst traffic/drivers I have ever encountered. Slow drivers everywhere (Under the speed limit slow) and everyone else trying to get around them.
