Turbo guys input on garrett gtx3076 vs gt3582r

Talking with kevin he is thinking of maybe going with the 3076 vs 3582. What do yall think? Pro's vs con's. Rundown... Manual, fully built 427, pump gas withe meth kit. Want one race gas tune also, street/roll action mostly but only a toy not a dd. Will the 3076 spool THAT much quicker? Want to hear the cam and motor too will the smaller choke it down a considerable amount? I love that healthy idle cam sound. Will i only see the benefit of the 3582's on racegas? Cause it will honestly not see that too often... Atleast i think never know, might fall inlove with it. I dont wanna regret goin too small and i also dont want overkill r only see the turbo's near redline.

The garret GT stuff is awesome, just pricey. If you can afford it, go for it.

Just looking at the compressor maps, I would have to guess that a pair of the GTX3582R
would be absolutely amazing on that 427. Should have similar spool to the 3076, and still have more top end with much better efficiency.

For a pair of them, the GTX3576R is very nice. The compressor wheel flows more than the old GT3582R, but is smaller for faster spool and has a smaller housing for easier packaging. The turbine wheel is the same as the GTX3582R.

Never looked at the 3576. They do kinda look like a happy medium. What is the main difference in the gtx3582r n the gt3582r efficiency? I mean are these 3582's THAT much slower spool to where i would wish i went smaller?

I would ask Kevin/Ben. They will know better. If that is what they recommended, then go for it.
