Buy from another state 2,000 miles away?

I had placed an order for a 2014 Convertible SS in BRM over a month ago and yesterday was informed that GM kicked the order out of cue and well, SOL.

I had thought I was about 2 weeks away from picking it up, well, now I need to a) settle for another vehicle in a color I don't want b) wait for a 2015, which I don't want to do c) have searched the US for one.

Found a few that have the color BRM/ Blue interior, but these dealers are in Ohio or SC, etc. and I am in LA.

How exactly can I go about this and do I go through my dealer here or just deal direct?

Also, living the in Socialist state of CA, certain the loon have additional emission nonsense and not certain how to go about that issue?

Any insight would be appreciated as I have wasted a ton of time on this pre-purchase and thinking maybe it is not meant to be.

Not sure what TPW stands for, but it was simply that GM was not taking any new orders for 2014 and are moving towards 2015 orders.

I doubt this. Have been in contact with Becky, didn't get any further response. Maybe my price imagination / budget limit was not aligned with the business goals, but I was putting my hope into this "secret connection", since recommended several times in this forum…

She wouldn't have the reputation on C5 if she did people wrong. She had shipped cars all over, taken care of many of us. As you said it was probably your price in which that is not her not anybody else's fault, after all they gabe to make money to pay the bills.... secret connection, not even close, she's just about customer service and also had a passion for the camaro!

She took care of my purchase and went above and beyond my expectations on the transaction. Since you live in Detroit just drive over to Rodgers Chevrolet and talk to her... You will see.
