In first gear you just hold the clutch in and rev the engine then pop the clutch.
for 2nd 3rd and 4th you need to speed shift or power shift, or quick shift... all the same thing. Check this out. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...r+shift+clutch

back in the day? we still do that today. actually thats part of the reason my trans is busted right now. too much pressure on the 2-4 band. but a reverse manual valve body, trans-brake, and a 3600 stall are on their way.
