So where are all the Camaros in Austin???

I am travelling for work this week and next in Austin, Round Rock to be exact, and was I was hoping to see a lot of Camaros since I know Texas is well represented here in the community. What do I see when I get here, a couple of cars in the Hertz rental lot at the Austin airport and to top it off, it is freezing down here. At least it didn't snow because I know the only snow plow the State of Texas owns is putting in overtime in Dallas right now

I'm coming back again this coming week (sitting in the Austin airport waiting for my flight to go home for the weekend and chop the trees up that fell in my yard from all the snow we got in Jersey), hopefully it'll warm up a bit, I am trying to rent one of those Camaros from Hertz without getting fired.

I'll say this, I went to the Salt Lick BBQ joint in Round Rock and that friggin beef, pork rib, and turkey bbq platter was awesome, you folks really know how to treat dead meat, I coulda ate there all night and into breakfast the next day....

Welcome! I'm not too far away from you. If you drive over to the Domain, I'm sure you'll see my red beaSSt getting rained on. Stupid weather. I know this is nothing compared to the NE winters, but this has been a bad one for Central Texas.

Hopefully they are all in garages at this point. Had some good sleet yesterday and I had to drive down between Houston and Victoria in it. Last time I take my car anywhere for work related stuff. So much rain here lately I am thinking about trading in the Camaro for a speed boat so I can get to work..

Yeah thats some good BBQ. Come on over to San Antonio and eat some tex-mex too!

I drive mine on good days from North Austin, Avery Ranch to be specific. Victory Red SS. Saw another on Mopac toll way the other day and saw a real nice Silver or Grey with Orange stripes and Orange Halos Today on Ben White.

On the Rain, Hope your not the same guys who complained about the drought over the Summer. I loved it!!! Hot and Dry for days on end.

Salt Lick in Driftwood is better. I live closer to the one in Round Rock and it is my favorite but when I get a chance to stop in Driftwood it's heaven.

They're all over Austin. Counted 3 in the parking lot at church (Shoreline) last Sunday! Soon to be 4!

Finally saw one this morning, a yellow one (didn't catch if it was SS or RS) right outside Dell in Round Rock (I work at Dell and am in Round Rock for training this week). Went into Austin last night, took 35 to 45 west last night to visit friends and didn't come across anyone.

Mine was in the shop this morning, but it's usually parked on the N. side of PS1 (Parmer Campus). What Dell work do you do in NJ ? I attended my first Camaro function last weekend. It was pretty cool. Central Texas is blessed with some of the world's greatest terrain.

CBH, That must be your yellow Camaro I see every day at Dell on Parmer, I'm not to far from there.
