Cool How to Install/line up Emblems that Are Shipped Loose

I got my 6.2L emblems from Emblempros and was very worried when I realized they werent already articulated on backing tape, they just came loose.

So, instead of just trying to stick them on the car and get it right the first time, I used painters tape to line them up.

Just stick them shiny side down on the sticky side of painters tape using the factory edge of the tape as a straight edge.

This way you get to get them straight, and even, while the red backing tape is still on the emblem adhesive.

Once everything is lined up, just use the edge of a razor blade to pick off the emblem adhesive backing tape, and then you can go put them on your car.

You can also use painters tape to make a straight edge on your fender or cowl to line it up.
