poly rear cradle bushings, any regrets?

I am debating bmr full poly(not the inserts) vs solid aluminum(pfadt, adm). I am concerned about road noise since this is my daily, so leaning toward the poly bushing. However, I plan on 600whp in the near future and wonder how well the poly holds the cradle on hard acceleration. Anyone with poly later wanted to go solid aluminum?

poly works fine. if some some inane reason you wanted to get aluminum later, you can still sell the polys you have, and its a 5 minute bushing swap once you have aftermarket stuff in there.

I have BMR full bushings and 580-600 depending on dyno. It does fine but I've never ridden in one with solid bushings.

I have full poly and am going solid as soon as I can get the time to install. There isn't any added noise with aluminum. The motor mounts and pro differential bushings are where noise/vibes gets added.

I have Pedders full poly and so far so good, although I'm not pushing 600 hp either! I would go solids with that kind of power.

There is really no downside to rear cradle bushing upgrades. Even with solid rear cradle bushings the increase in NVH is barely noticeable and completely appropriate for daily driver use. For the kind of power levels you are shooting for solid is the way to go. Do it right and do it once.

This.

Solid all the way. I'm shooting for 500rwhp and aren't even considering poly bushings for my daily driver.

my car's run a 1.3 60 foot on stock bushings. I have poly in there now, but it isn't the end-all be-all of suspension mods.

I have full Polly's (not pedders) and im probably going with pfadt solids in the near future. My buddy's have them and notice no noise and excellent performance.

I had issues with my cars suspension im at 499/557 on teds heartbreaker superflow dyno, im not sure if its the subframe bushings , most likely a toe link bushing but I'm most likely going to replace all of it and hopefully be done with it.

For your plan I would just go solids now
600 daily your my kind of person nice !

With that kind of power, I would not even consider anything less than a solid bushing. There is not much NVH to speak of and beside the initial cost, there is no downside of going with a full bushing.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Thanks guys, going solid bushings. Now have to decide on adm or pfadt. I have a few other pfadt products and like their quality but the adm ones come in at a lower cost

We did a M6 Camaro that put down 615rwhp the other day.
I drove it before and after the installation of solid cradle bushing.
Noticed a big difference in handling, but I did not notice any increase in NVH.
Great mod.
