Tru-X Pipe or not?

I have a 2012 SS L99 with GM Off Road(Borla S-type) Axel Back exhaust. I have the Range so AFM is NOT an issue.

I like the sound of my exhaust at WOT, but would like it a little bit louder at idle. Would adding the Magnaflow Tru X-pipe #10791 accomplish this or would it sound the same as it does with the heavy stock resonator?

Thanks in advance.

An xpipe will change the tone a little nothing drastic. But it would be worth it as far as weight.

Yeah I was aware of the weight savings. So not much of a sound difference at idle then. Not worth the hassle I guess.

Anytime you can shed weight off this fat bitch, for not much $$, is always a good thing.

I have the muffler delete done on my 13 and yesterday i had the x-pipe installed in place of the resonator. From my experience the sound at idle is a bit louder and the tone sounds better especially at wot.
