my garage smells like natural gas-stock cats?

i started up my L99 yesterday, and backed it out of the garage...let it run prob 20 minutes and pulled it back in (had to go to work and didnt have time to drive it-winter here in wva:( )

...so i come home last eve and the garage smells like natural gas..???

...oh, and we dont heat with natural gas, and there isnt even any natural gas here in our housing developement and my whole car is bone stock

...could this be from the catalytic converters? usually those smell like rotten eggs though dont they? first time i've smelled this odor...

thanks guys

Your car is obviously contaminated with radon gas- highly radioactive and deadly.
For the sake of your family and your own health, you should immediately send me the title and keys. I'll be there within the week to pick it up!!

No thanks necessary.

(Yeah,its the cats)
Your local refinery has likely just switched to its winter blend.

Do any work on it lately? I could smell the bending oil burning off my exhaust for a week or so after install.

If you are smelling rotten eggs...you are in trouble as that is H2S, very bad gas found in the oil and gas industry.

Throw in that hood ornament and you've got a deal!!
Originally from the Mountain State myself- if you relocate to sunny S.Utah, you can get that LS3 in a convertable and never need to put the top up! Happy New Year .

LOL! Love the hood ornament comment!!

The smell is sulfer, part of the compounds the cat produces as it consumes the hydor carbons. Early years (late 70's/80's) it was horrible, todays produce very little.
