Octoberfest cruise
Dan & I are thinking about heading over to Leavenworth on the 5th & 6th of Oct. if anyone wants to go they can. more than welcome to join us.
after surgery & a horse show I am pretty sure we want to get away from the house for a while. let us know

Octoberfest is a pain. You have to plan a couple months in advance. More if you want a block of rooms in the same hotel.

Also, on Festival weekends, most hotels require a two-night stay.
Gotta love tourist-trap towns.

I told my husband that if he still wanted to go we leave saturday morning, early, head over spend the night at some hotel & check that out.

ended up booking a room at the la Quinta in Wenatchee wa. for the night of the 6th.
