Tell them to stick that car. Look for something else.

Your car actually has more damage than we thought so we are going to have to talk with your insurance company for the next 3 weeks before they authorize the extra $1000 of work that needs to be done to the bumper.

Me: the bumper doesn't even cost $1000 with paint..

Dealer: your car is the 45th anniversary and requires a special paint that is 4x the cost of the others

Me: -_- give me my keys now.

Today the shop is blaming insurance paperwork and the Insurance company is calling the shop lazy. Both of them asked me to be "patient". I said "...why?"

If Allen Funt pops up when I finally get that car back, I'm kicking him right in the vegetables.

I'm sorry but did you mention you want good paint? That'll be another 2 weeks, and if you want it to match, it will take another 3 weeks. By the way, if you get a survey call...

Complete repaint and some damage repair was 6 days on my '79 Regal.

Rocker panels painted and replaced ~5 hours on my Camaro.

WTF?
Where I come from, we call your manner "not very damned friendly".
