Found this on the road today!!!

Lucky me to run this over

Not sure if i should leave it in or try my luck and pull it out in hopes that it did not go all the way through

Maybe i can just plug it

Do not plug tires on performance cars not good. See if they can repair it.

You use a patch from the inside for something like that. However being on the edge of the tire like that, a lot of places will not repair it. Liability reasons. You may find some small shop that will do it though. I just doubt a place like discount tire will. General rule of thumb anything from the last line in the tread to the roll of the tire, you do not repair. Some will patch that like I said, but do not let them plug it.

That is on the shoulder so no do not patch it. Especially if you plan on tracking or going to 100+....

I picked up a screw three days after putting brand new tires on my car in the exact same location. I plugged it with plenty of rubber cement and it has been fine for 10K miles. I don't track my car though. For daily driving, you would be fine to plug.

I managed to pick up 3 screws in 3 separate tires all within one month. Good thing the tires are only 400 a piece to replace....

That is in a non repairable zone. Needs a tire. Repairable zone is the area from the inner outer groove to the outside outer groove. Nothing beyond the groove to the sidewall can be repaired.
