Besides, the black interior matches Scott's tuxedo in this one:
That is awesome. I never had black interior on any vehicle in my life (always thought it was boring) until I bought my IS 350 last year. I love the black. It's just a straight evenness in teh apppearance and looks better when conditioned. Looks more healthy. Hard to explain but Thanx for the clarification, I feel much better.

I'll wager that is black. I'm nearly positive. Flash photography is a tricky thing as the light coming out of the flash is BRIGHT and instant. A flash was definitely used here as obvious from the reflection off the edge of the steering wheel. Leather is a semi reflective surface so a lot of that flashed light is thrown back at the camera which tried to make it's best guess as to what that color is through white balance. I know all that sounds kind of technical, but these photos are obviously just snap shots and not pro shots. Keep that in mind.
Cool thanks to you, too. Wow, I never thought it could make that big of a defference. It makes sense though, by the way you explained it. And I don't feel as stupid asking as I thought I might.

Somebody, Scott, Fbodfather, anyone . . .

Was noticing with these new pictures of a full production interior that the shoulder belt now is coming from the back pillar. I believe in the earlier concept (possibly the convertible) that the shoulder belt went through the seat loop and then back down the backside of the seat and into the bottom of the complete seat. Is this design (back around to the floor) for only the vert or just the concept version that has been since changed to the current configuration now seen in the SS? Having an '01 vert really liked the idea of the back seat not being obstructed for exit/entry by the belt.

Anybody have an info on this detail?

I wanted stripes factory installed until I saw this. I am just getting a plain white Camaro. makes a great modification canvas.

Forgive me for asking, but are there any good pics of the rear interior anywhere? Don't think I've seen backseat pictures yet.

Boo.

(Kidding about the "hideous", of course).
