SS/RS Question

Ok so I ordered an SS with RS for the HiDs and spoiler but what im wonder what wheels am I gonna get the RS or the SS and what do the 2 look like? I only ask because I have read these too spec sheet quotes...

"RS Appearance Package available on LT and SS, with HID headlamps with integrated halo ring feature, spoiler, specific taillamps and 20-inch wheels"

"SS Vehicle comes equipped with 20x8 inch in front and 20x9 inch in rear wheels"

Pics please if you got them >.<

With RS you will get the ones on the middle left instead of the ones in the middle or upper right. You can order to get the RS package with the ones in the middle or upper right if you prefer however.

Ok I have another question - will the RS' rear 20's be 9" wide and get 275's? I think this would be cool, though I guess you would have to replace your tires more often since rotating them would not work too well.

1SS and 2SS come standard with the following tires: P245/45ZR20 front and P275/40ZR20 rear, summer tires.

Yeah but will the LT with the RS package get 20's s with these same tires or will all four be 20" x 8" and P245/45ZR20 or will the rear have 20" x 9" and P275/40ZR20's?

RS will (for the sake of conversation) give the LTs SS wheels.

This brings up a good point about tire rotation. Since we won't be able to rotate them or even swap them since they'll be directional tires, how many miles can we expect out of them under normal driving conditions? Also, would it be safe to assume the front tires will wear faster, therefore, we'll be at the tire store buying 2 tires at a time vs. a whole set at once? (might have to do this anyway since the tire pricing will be outrageous I'm sure)

Anybody have a feeling on this?

Weight distribution is pretty even. With a driver, the V6 is supposed to get almost perfect 50/50...The SS has another 100 pounds distributed among a physically larger engine, and suspension upgrades (roll-bar, etc)

I can't imagine uneven tire wear would be a huge issue with this car (even without rotation), as opposed to say a FWD Malibu or Impala....

the rear tires will wear much quicker than the fronts. The fronts will only be direvtional. The rears will get all the work and yes they will cost easily 200 plus each

I just figured that the front tires taking more punishment from turning and such that they would wear faster but then again I'm no expert. Never owned a car that I could not rotate the tires. I once had a friend who bought a new Porshe Carrera 4 (sp?) that had different tire dimensions as well and he complained to the dealer that he was only getting 6000 miles out of a set of tires. Good Lord, I hope that is not the case for us! Please tell me it ain't so!!
