WTF - Wife damaged one of my new wheels

Just need to vent. I finally let my wife drive my new Camaro and she rimmed the curb on the rear passenger side as she rounded a corner. I purchase the Lexani 22" LX-15 staggered wheel option from Jon @ BestWheelDeals. Only had them on for about two weeks. She said there was a blind spot. I told her I'm not aware of any care in which you can see the curb from inside the car, on the driver side. She was upset at me for being upset at her. I'm sick to my stomach and can't even stand to look at the wheel. It is dented and scrapped around the edges. I'm hoping I can order a replacement wheel/tire from Jon and have it on the car before the 4th of July weekend as I'm gonna be traveling.

I know it hurts but you got to remember she's your wife, and it's just a car when all is said and done.

You should get extra steak and BJ days for this one.

My husband has scraped the point at the bottom of the car (facia) twice now by pulling up to far to park and believe me, he felt worse about it than I did. It can be fixed. I never degraded him over it because I love him and hurting his feelings by making him feel worse about it wouldn't have solved anything. My advice is to take a deep breath. Give her a hug and tell her you are sorry for getting so angry with her

I scratched up my wheel two weeks ago, and then had a buddy who paints cars sand it down and paint it last week... It looks brand spanking new.... was a 10" long scratch along the edge of the rim.... Fixed

Though I'm not sure of your wheel, this was the 19" Aluminum finish stock GM wheel

It's the best scratch you will ever have.
My kid put a very little dent in my SS with under 3000. (Hit it with a piece of luggage; doesn't even know he did it.) I wanted to fix it right away. Then I thought about it again. If anything ever happened to him, I would have that dent to remember him by. So it stays. Weird reasoning, call me crazy, but I don't hate the little dent anymore. It reminds me that I have a life even better than my SS. (But that's the only dent I will keep!!!!)

I'll post pics in the morning. The outside lip is dented. It would probably cost me more money to try and have it fixed than to buy a new one. I still love her and I know accidents happen. I didn't take it out on her but I'm sure she won't ask to drive car anymore. I just hope there won't be to much trouble getting a replacement by the weekend. We'll take the old wheel and plant some flowers in it or something.

This.

But grab her by the waist and lay some smooches on so she knows everything is cool.

Something I say to all my "male friends"... 'At the end of the day, just remember who's given up the nookie'..... the anger/grudge usually dissipates fairly quickly with that said.

We all get upset at our spouses ine time or another, but we still love em don't we? You'll get it fixed soon enough. Like everyone said already..I'm sure she feels real bad about it...but we know you love her!
