Side panel coming off?

Has anyone had any problems with the side panels bordering the windshield on the interior popping out of the clip that holds them in? My panels on both sides are coming off and they won't snap back in anymore.

The clips are probably broken. Just take it in under warranty.

There's a TSB for this issue. The clips that hold the A-pillar trim pieces in place near the roof (at least for the early 2010 Camaros) were insufficient to hold the trim panel in place. My a-pillar trim pieces would pop away when the interior would heat up (especially in the summer time).

The TSB has the dealership replace the original clips with a redesigned clip (P/N 11611318). I recently installed these updated clips on my 05/2009 produced 2010 Camaro. The clips only cost $2.20 (that's what I paid for them) so the $5 for clips is a lot cheaper than me driving over to the service department 25 miles away plus the possibility of them damaging the car while it's being worked on.

So far, the a-pillar trim pieces are staying in place with the new clips.

southpaw_af, have you been to get this issue taken care of either on your own or through your dealer yet? Thank you for your time.

Nope, I haven't had time yet. I'm going to try and get it taken care of tomorrow. Thanks for the input guys.

edit: I went over today but the service center is closed on Saturdays. Any idea of where I can purchase the clips so I can do it myself? I really have zero free time during the week until about October.\

edit2: I finally fixed it. Thanks for the tip shiftz33, I ordered 2 of P/N 11611318 from gmpartsdirect.com for like $3 each, but they got me on shipping...12 bucks. It was worth not having to drive all the way out to an open dealer on a Saturday; took 5 minutes to install them.
