i ordered rims on sunday may 8th from wheelsnext.com on my 10th i got an email saying there was an "inventory issue" im guessing out of stock. if so, how long does it take for rims to be made?

They will not stop doing what they are doing to fill your order , that a production thing , on the other hand they might have some on the way to refresh the stock !

What brand of wheels are they? Cast wheels or forged wheels?

Most forged wheel companies quote 6-8 weeks production time. No, it doesn't take that long to build a set of wheels, the wait is usually caused by the orders ahead of yours. It only takes about 2 weeks to actually build the wheels, unless you go custom paint. That typically gets farmed out and can take another 1-2 weeks to do.

funny thing about all this wheel stuff. if they take 1/2 of your money up front. do you think most of them are going to hurry up your order.it's to bad they push that hard. i would have bought some f14's IF they did'nt play that game.

They took 50% deposit on my order. Don't forget that they are 100% custom and taking a 50% deposit is actually the norm. The manufacturer doesn't want to be stuck with a wheel the ordering customer says "I don't like it" after it's done.
