CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013 !!

22nd annual
CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013
July 5-6-7, 2013
Riverside Park, Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA!

OH YES… hard to believe that we’re giving you a near full year “heads-up” on our next event!! Here are our dates… time to mark those long-range calendars, time to inform your family your will be spending the holiday with your Camaro family next year! Time to get those days off for vacation and plan on having the Camaro-time of your life!

What will our 2013 event be like? Much too early for lots of details, but we’ve already discussed doing another tour of a certain local “collection” we visited this year, but having it as a cruise/meet & greet type of activity. Perhaps another visit to MIS?

We do know that we will again be in a great location – Riverside Park, We will have great judging and many awards, We will have another great charity to collect for and help, and we’ll be having a great time with all of our Camaro friends and family!

Watch our website and HERE for info and announcements as they become available.

FYI- we have received many great survey forms from this years event. If you have not sent one in, you can do it at our website (for another month only!). We’re going to compile these comments and post a page on the CSF website, addressing your concerns from the surveys. It may not be the exact answer you are looking for, sorry… but we believe that communication and answers are in yours and our best interest, for a continued great event!

Lastly – our 2012 records to beat for 2013…
registered = 426+
actual attending = 382
charity = $4000

Will we see you there to help break these numbers for 2013?? We hope so!!

can't seem to find our Camaro Superfest 2012 posting/item... so we'll announce here!.....

CONGRATULATIONS and THANK-YOU !!!!!

On Thursday night, August 23, 2012, the members of the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club along with their sponsor, Bill Crispin and Bill Crispin Chevrolet, hosted the charity check presentation from this years 21st annual CAMARO SUPERFEST event.
Bill called up many of his “friends” and look who came – Milan Police, Ann Arbor Police, Michigan State Police, Washtenaw County Sheriff, Ypislanti Police, Saline Police and Pittsfield Township Police! Our charity for the 2012 event was chosen by Bill Crispin – MiCOPS, Michigan Concerns Of Police Survivors. This organization assists the families of fallen police officers! www.micops.org Bill is a former law officer, so this charity is near and dear to his heart, as it should be for all of us! Accepting the check for MiCOPS was Karen Black, President and a 2000 survivor.

The amount given to MiCOPS? $4000 !!

All of this was raised by the participants and spectators of CAMARO SUPERFEST, the longest running ALL Camaro event in the USA. The event is held yearly at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Attendance for 2012 was 382 Camaros from 14 states and Canada. The event attendance and charity donation were all increases from last year’s event! EMCC and its members wish to THANK all of our participants, supports, sponsors and spectators that helped in any way, in making 2012 another great year in Camaro Superfest history! We look forward to doing this all again and more, in 2013 – 22nd annual CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013 will be on July 5-6-7, 2013!

I guess we've been taking a break! Website is in need of updating, however, it does mention that the Camaro Superfest dates are July 5,6,7, 2013 and the Hotel is the same as the last several years (Marriott at Eagle Crest), same Ypsi Park location for show. More info will coming soon.

HELLO and good day to you…
Here is a brief update on our plans for CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013 !
THANK-YOU Sponsors – we have some sponsors signed on, but are always looking for more! Signed-on so far are-
Lingenfelter Performance, Ecklers-Rick’s Camaro Parts, Canton Waste Recycling, The Bicycle Doctor, Cruis’news magazine, Livernois Motorsports, National Parts Depot and Bill Crispin Chevrolet.
We have 3 packages – Bronze $500, Silver $1000 and Gold $2000. If you are a Camaro related business, can you afford to not be in attendance at the best ALL Camaro event in the USA? We’ll have plenty of vendor spaces too! Please email us for more details! (barry76Lt@wowway.com) Please contact us ASAP as we want to have you as a sponsor and get your name/logo on our event flyers! (deadline = Jan 30)

Friday Activities – Friday is a special day of activities for registered participants only. This year we are pleased to have two new activities!
Just approved and we’re pleased to announce – laps at Waterford Hills Road Course and a tour of the Camaro COPO Build Center! This will be limited to the first 250 people/140 Camaros. Cost is estimated to be $15 per Camaro. We are still working on plans for a Meet-Greet-Dinner for Friday evening.

Saturday Activities – While we’ve had success with our Poker Run the last 3 years, we’ve decided to simply do a Cruise-Dinner-Tour. How about a nice country cruise, pizza, salad, dessert and refreshments and 120+ of some of the finest automobiles you’ve ever seen? Our destination will again be the great Lingenfelter Collection. Because this will be a cruise, we can allow more people to attend! Cost is estimated to be $20 per person.

Our Theme for 2013 will highlight the Camaro Z28! We’ll have those special judging classes just for Z28 ‘s!

Our Charity for 2013 is the Lupus Foundation of America. Once again, you can support our charity by attending, participating in our silent auctions and 50-50 raffles or even an out-right donation! We are hoping to raise $5000!

We still hope to have our flyers, website and registration open in the second week of February. Stay tuned….!!
