you can go with the Bilstein B6 or the Koni struts for a little upgrade

I went with the B6's, nice improvement over the stock 1le struts.

Are you still using the stock springs? If so, then is the improvement in both ride and handling?

I went with BMR -1,25" springs. The BMR's are not that much stiffer than the stock springs with the 1le struts. I am sure there is a noticeable difference with the SS struts. I noticed the rear does not tuck under hard acceleration with the BMR's, front is mostly the same as stock. The B6's absorb road imperfections better and don't cavitate over a series of road imperfections like the stock 1le struts did. Roads in WI are horrible and the 1le struts couldn't keep up with the road imperfections and the car became upset and inconsistent in turns. The B6's took all that away, similar performance, just a more refined strut/shock. 15% stiffer, 15% better ride, 50% more consistency over rough surfaces. Should have came from the the factory with the B6's. GM could have added $450 to the the 1le package and used the Bilsteins.
