Yep -- flows at the same rate as the ZL1... I'm actually running dual varimax's on my setup...

It doesn't have a Bosch. I can tell you, the one that slp comes with flows much more than a zl1

It's the one that comes with the SLP kit. I forgot who makes it. But it's not a bosch

After looking at it again, comparing it to pics of a bosch they look the same. But it had another manufactures name on it. I'm really not sure now. Maybe bosch does make it and has someone else's name on it?

Yep, they do. F8YZ-8501 is a Bosch pump. Most of the kits have a Bosch pump.

Here is a link to where I swapped them...

Cool deal, we'll see how it does this summer in the heat. After 3 dyno pulls back to back I could keep my hand on top of the blower. Very cool running blower and has a huge intercooler.

Yup, we had about a 2 hour road trip to GPI. Ryan tested it on the street a bit then did 3 dyno pulls back to back.
I was able to lay my hand on the supercharger and I was amazed!!

Again, Electrical everywhere. There was some splicing going on and re-arranging of where the wires were.

Now the belt goes on.

With most projects... we ran into a problem.
unknown to us, SLP had upgraded their Degas bottle. Cold Air Inductions did not know of this either. The valve cover vent tube fitting was hitting the degas bottle and we could not get the elbow of the CAI to fit. So we had to cut it off, fill it, and then installed it on.

We did contact CAI and explained what was going on with proof of pictures. They actually made us a new 'elbow' and sent it over. the vent tube has been put higher up and will fit with no problems! the new one hasn't been put on just yet. It will be put on this Friday or weekend.

Heat soak on a hot day is where the upgraded pump shines.

Run the car under boost when road racing, let it sit between sessions, you find how heat soaked it gets real quick ;o). Thus why I've spent time testing cooling options.

Faster flow improves cooling, until the system needs capacity or more hxs. PD blowers are heat magnets...

Love the looks of that system... looks great. Outstanding job for sure...
