Can I crank up the Boost

Got a tune and boost controller set for 9.5# boost with twins. I did not have anything else done to the engine (it's stock) other than installing LPE twin-fuel and ID1000 injectors. What's to keep me from raising the boost, to say, 12#? Go boom? Issue?

Good tune and fuel system and you shouldn't have any issues at 11-12psi.

Agreed, you have a good fuel delivery setup it looks like so get the tune right and you should be fine other than a possible mechanical failure. Spark plugs too, what plug you running?

Like AGP said, make sure you have the octane, either good gas, torco, or meth. Other than that, stock motor will take 700rwhp all day uncorrected, so you can probably crank it up to ~800-850rwhp corrected up there since you have the fuel for it and have no issues. Hell, if you had meth or some 100 octane/etc no reason you couldn't go to 800+ uncorrected with the kit which would be 900+SAE.

Plugs are either what came with the AGP base kit or NGK TR6. I run pump gas and it's 91 octane up here in Colorado (am told it runs like 93 at altitude). Don't have plans to install/run meth or really octane boost. Maybe I'm good where I'm at (9.5#) until I get really bored.

If they are the TR6s I would swap them and run some torco just for some sort of insurance policy if you go up. Some guys run over 10psi with front mounts but they get away with it on pump mainly because peak boost comes in after peak torque.

6 would be fine for 600rwhp IMO, others may want to see a 7. Put some torco in and try 11-12psi. Remember, you motor/octane/etc care about actual numbers, not corrected. Figure 650rwhp is a solid number and with a 20% CF or so that CO sees you could do 760-780rwhp SAE just fine without issues.
