The design is basically the same but here you go:
FRONTS front radius rod bushings larger in Camaro Balljoints larger in Camaro Strut and upper strut bushing totally different in the Camaro Sway bars totally different End links different Rear Trailing arm bushings have different size holes Camaro does not use a outer lower control arm bushing like the GXP Upper rear control arm bushing larger than G8 sway bars totally different. Lower control arms are beefier than G8 at the inner bushing the Camaro has a larger inner fender area and can accept a much larger tire than the G8. the Zeta 2 platform itself is more advanced than G8 Hope this helps mike dms |

....and most importantly, the free height of the Camaro springs is approximately 1.5 inches shorter than the G8 springs.

I saw the thread title and was going to say 'wait for the Pedders gang to get here' and they already were here... They seem to know most about the Camaro suspension..

Its because I already make a shorter VE/G8 air bag strut here and want to see if it is short enough for the Camaro

Now I will only be able to show you the differences with OE struts for now. Is that OK, or do you need XA strut comparisons? That will be harder to do thanks mike dms |
