I just got an e-mail from my dealer. My car hit 3800 yesterday. VIN# 16991

Well for anyone interested.

I was 2000 Accepted on April 13
I was 3800 produced on May22
4b00 Bayed on May 29.
No change in status. Car showed up at the dealer yesterday June 10.

I am a very happy Camaro owner.....2SS RS #11897

If you look at the spreadsheet it shows it is an auto; if you look at the window sticker, it shows as a manual, near the top of the left column. Now look in the right column where the options are listed you will find both the engine and trans listed as Auto. This is how all stickers read.

At what point does the Sticker get posted on the Chevy site, and the database? When it is shipped? My dealer called with the invoice and vin 6/09, and it just showed up today on site/database? Hopefully it means it shipped, and I am only 4hrs away from the plant.

That means the dealer hasn't received allocation yet to place the order to production. They (or you) should be able to find out from the dealer approximately when they can expect that. Find out how many they have been getting per month, what their production guide number was (they got this back in October), and how many people are ahead of your parents car. If the salesman doesn't provide answers, talk to the manager. They may not know exactly when but you should be able to get an estimate from that information.

Sometime between built and delivery. I used to think it was same time as invoice but we've seen cases that happened differently. Soooo who knows...

i did notice that after my eyes stopped vibrating from the excitement that i was actually witnessing the birth of my baby. i am quite elated at the moment. dealer says i can expect delivery within the next 2 weeks, invoice from his view on workbench states del date of 6/22. i am counting the minutes....

Thanks for the info. I believe some dealers systems are only updated once a week or GM is behind on updating the event codes.

Tell us about the car... SS? RS? Manual? Color?

My event history updated right through the whole process....including 5-bayed's,3 shipped's and 1- rail unload.
I'll be picking it up Saturday

Spastic squirrel found my vin # VIN: 2G1FK1EJXA9113093. I'll go see my dealer tomorrow and see if they can find it as well. Maybe I'll even see the car around the end of the month.

Allied still shows mine as Shippable on 6/9. Nothing updated since.
