What brand of CAI did you use? Do ya'll feel that the polished tube compared to the plastic tube is much of a difference as far as losing hp.? How much for a set of those covers without the stickers? Your thoughts???

Roto-Fab is the maker of the CAI and Engine Cover. You can go to www.roto-fab.com and check out their products. They paint and clear all of their engine covers and are top notch. They have a rep on this site you can PM and they can give you a price on exactly what you want.

That is the Roto-Fab intake also. There is no doubt that at part throttle the intake temerature is higher with the metal intake tube. At high throttle positions the intake temp difference is only a few degrees. We measure intake temp at the throttle body with a high speed thremocouple.

The polished tube certainly looks cooler though, in my opinion.

The covers are $439 painted the color of your choice.

Good job. Your logo looks great against the red covers. Now I have my pencil and paper out trying to come up with something cool like that!
