Well I enjoy them both a lot!!!
But if I have to chose... StarTrek!!! (Original TV series, The Wrath of Khan, EARLY Next Generation, and the new movie) (the rest... not so much)
I am really diggin the new StarTrek movie (you have got to love the "Red Shirt" reference). A lot of tie-in's with the original TV series, but with a twist so they can take it in new directions.

My 2 cents

Star Wars FTW!!! Star Trek NextGen was ok. The newest movie was pretty damn good though.

And for all you LOTR fans.... Oh WTF happened to this world? There's only one triliogy you ----ing morons. The ----ing hobbit movies were boring as hell. All it was, was a bunch of ppl walking. Three movies of ppl walking through a ----ing volcano.

Cannibalistic? I must've missed the scene where an Ewok ATE another Ewok. No doubt George Lucas will put out a version with it restored back in. With purple clouds behind it. And a young Jabba thrown in. Eating Ewok.

P.S. You're totally wrong on the Trek thing. I can at least WATCH the worst of the SW movies. Not so the worst of the STs.

P.S. II: The Sequel (and since it's 2, it won't suck): While Trek may have more women, I never saw one hotter than Leia in the slave outfit. Just saying.

Okay, point. Cannibalistic was the wrong word. I couldn't think of a word that meant 'happily roasts up and dines on other sentient creatures.' Remember that one little dude was singing a jolly tune as they prepared to roast Han.

Note that they weren't even going to kill Han first.

Let's test that by finding a bootleg copy of the Holiday Special. Or a hack-written "Expanded Universe" novel.

Skin. Lick. Hours.

All I'm saying.

Firefly also wins the sexiness contest. Not as many hot women as Trek, but the ones they had were in every single episode.

The novel stuff does have to be given a nod by Lucasarts and they stole lots of material (like Coruscant's name), but it is arguable that it doesn't count.

The Holiday Special, though...George Lucas did that himself and Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, among others, were there on the screen.

So it totally counts.

Dudes, do you remember the last Star Trek series on the air, "Enterprise"? That was da' bomb! It was funny, unpretentious, and that Vulcan chick was super fine, YEAH!
