I've seen this in all kinds of cars on certain parts. Just seems idiotic to have these kinds of designs. I mean it's no big deal when it's under warranty, but think about it down the road. If it goes out and you are no longer under warranty, can you imagine the labor cost.

Without my car as well. All my lifters need to be replaced already due to bad lifters. My camaro only has 1,000 miles. Has anyone else had lifter problems?

No...at least not yet, actually. When they get my new windshield, I'll have to take my car back and then they will perform all the work (remove and ruin my current windshield, remove dashboard, replace heater core, replace dashboard, install new windshield).

Okay, got my car back on Friday, new windshield and all. I think everything is good, but I didn't have to use the heater over the weekend. A few things that didn't go smoothly was that when I left the dealership, I turned on the A/C but it didn't come on. I have to drive back because one of the connectors wasn't properly connected As I got on the freeway, I got a message on the DIC that said "Service Tire Monitoring System" with a picture of a wrench. I went back the next day and it only took about 10-15 minutes to reset it. They told me that BCM needed to be reset for it because it was disconnected when they operated on my car.
