Are the weights still on the brakes?

I see some high vin's on here so has the brake issue been resolved or are people just ignoring it now?

I started a thread on this a bit ago, and they are still weighting the callipers, but they are now painting them black. Mine has them - #13560.

Friend has 10,2xx has them unpainted. You have to get real low and look up there to see them so that's probably the confusion.

Any idea how long this is going to go on,yeah I know there have been other post on this matter but I saw some vin in the 16000's and some people say they have them and some don't,if you have a car already are you being told anything about the brakes or are you stuck with that S*** forever?

Guess some do and some don't...

Anyways, not sure why this is such a big deal anyways, it's like complaining about having weights on your wheels when "balanced"...and those are WAY more noticeable.

The weights are still there, the newer ones are painted black so they do not show up as much.

Well may not be a big deal to you or others ,but I'm not as accepting about buying a nearly 40,000 car with weights on the wheels that may go unnoticed
because they're painted black or hidden on the brakes, the issue being there is a problem is it resolved or not,is it a huge problem no,but there are plenty of cars with brembos not wearing weights,to me it's like having a dent or scratch that I know about but you don't notice,so thats hardly anything like having weights for balancing the wheels considering thats the way its been forever.
