Homelink Issues
Has anybody noticed how short the range is on the homelink transmitter? I have to be almost directly in front of the house for the garage door to open.
I also noticed that you have to hold the button for about a second before it works. And, if it doesn't work the first time, it seems that you have to wait maybe a second before trying again. The factory remote for the door opener works halfway down the block with just a tap. I wonder where the antenna is on the car... |

My Homelink works from up the road. So does my wife's. Maybe you need to go see the dealer?

Mine doesn't work at all, but I'm live in a condo, so think there is something different about the radio signals on a home system vs a commercial system.
