LOL what I did was trim the bracket and I used strong clear epoxy and bonded it to the grille ... I also used zip ties to temp hold it in place until the epoxy cures and just cut the zip ties off and blamo ...

SIM Camaro rebadged

Just stuck the rear blackout and SS on. Not sure if I will stick on the blackout ends yet or not. Back to the garage to pull the engine covers to see if I can paint them like one of the posters did. I like red for the engine area since silver will look to plain.

Did you have to fill the guide holes in the trunk for the bow tie? Or does the vinyl just cover them? I like the look.

I left the two holes as is incase I ever want to go back or GM comes out with a better emblem. The two holes are different sizes and quite large. There are no nuts on the back of them, they are just there for alignment. Between the blackout layer and the SS emblems's backing and the two S's, the the holes are hidden very well. The blackout vinal was a pain to install and I suggest that you watch some videos on how to apply them or tint in youTube. I was tempted to red out the SS like the smaller ones that were on the sides of the front and back.

I so wish now that I had left my car plain (no stripes). This has been a nightmare. They told me it was ready yesturday. Went to get it after work and

Looks like the painter applied too much clear and it ran, hardened, then they polished it! Drips and overspray everywhere. I'm not one to be a d!ck, but this is pushing my buttons. Week and a half in their shop this time to correct what they screwed up that last week and a half it was in there. My math = 3 weeks to paint stripes? Is this possible? WTF???

It's not a $5000.00 paint job, but I should get a vehicle back that looked as good as it did when I gave it to them!
