I was told I should be around 540-560 RWHP. I will find out this spring.. I will not be cutting a hole in my Camaro. Holy shit!!!
How did it turn out with the pulley, pump, and injectors? Do you know what brand the Elderbrocks are ? Also should you have gone to a bigger injector like 85? in case you do a cam?

So just to confirm.. I have a eforce on it now, headers, and CAI... I plan on cam and pulley in a few weeks which I will let a shop do. I can go ahead cut the trap door and replace the SS pump with a ZL1 pump and I don't need a retune ever untill I do the cam and pulley swap?

I used the air cut off tool. No problem with the gas tank but the hot metal sparks can burn you if the drop into your shorts! I prefer the cut off tool because the wheel is much smaller than a grinder and unless you really screw up you won't cut the tank. I'm sure that if you are really nervous you could put a spacer of some sort on the grinder body so that the cut off wheel will only extend down 1/16th inch or something like that. One other tip is to only cut three sides, not the side up against the rear seat rail.

If you do the ZL1 pump you would not need a tune. If you get the ADM module, you would still not NEED a tune, but it wouldn't do anything above the stock module. You could install them both and drive as normal until you do the cam swap. Once you have it tuned, there is a lot more potential. I have the ZL1 pump along with the ADM module. I am running 88 lb (@58psi) injectors, and I have fuel for days @545rwhp, I could probably go up to 650rwhp on this pump setup. I have about $500 in the setup.

Awesome thank you..

I ordered the ZL1 pump, IDS 850 and a smaller puller.. 281.00 to the door for the pump, $722.00 for the injectors, and 40.00 for the pulley.

there is a special of 1787.00 ( cam of your choice and parts included) plus 500.00 for the Matt S. Tune.

I have a lift but I'm still gonna cut the hatch for the pump.. Unless there is a video of what needs to be done to do the tank.. All the shops here want $400.00 for the fuel pump swap..

I found 2 devices to cut with in the ole tool box.. see pic

It's actually kinda nice having an access panel above the fuel hat. You can see if the connector is plugged in, check for leaks, etc.

I used only the cutoff wheel when I did mine. Just watch out near the front edge of the rear seat pan, there is some wiring right there. I couldn't change mine with the screwdriver and hammer method. I had to make my own tool as no one local had the OTC type tool to rent or buy. I still recommend the ADM module to go along with the ZL1 pump to keep up with those ID850s.

Their website seems to be all messed up, just PM Andy (ADM Performance is his username). And yes, just hook it up, it just won't do anything until you have it tuned.

I called andy to order mine, very easy deal with, combined with Zl1 fuel pump and low boost made good power with no problems running out of fuel.

Do you need to re tune after putting in the ZR1 map sensor?
