Launcher Pro for the actual launcher.
Widget maker to get the clock and MP3 player custom sized.
Torque to get the outside temp.
Widgets for Torque to make the temp show on the front page.
I have a clock widget (can't remember the name right now) for that actual clock, but any clock would work.

INTERESTING! I just stumbled across this thread and the website. I love hacking Android ROM's in addition to loving my Camaro...wonder how much customization can be done with this bad boy....

For those that own the units (and without sifting through 49 pages), how do you all like them so far? Thinking about buying one.

I love it. Have no intention of removing it.

Speaking of issues anyone gave any ideas on how to greet the cardvd option in the Bluetooth settings to sync with the phone? Is it possible to reset everything in Bluetooth like the way it came out of the box without restoring the whole system

I don't feel there is anything comparable short of a carPC I have seen. As it stands it is good. To get some of the minor bugs and finishing touches it would be better. To get Bluetooth to work across the board and add customizations to it would be the icing on the cake.

I have had my share of frustrations, which have mostly been resolved. However now some of us our running into a power glitch where on occasion it wont turn on with the key, have to remove key, turning the car off and do over.

Am going to send Lim the video tonight to show him what I am talking about. I would buy again though

I got lucky (well I guess in a way) and at lunch the power issue happened to me. He asked for a video a day ago, so I was able to provide him a video of what was happening. It sounds like several of us were having the same problem, turn car to on, wait for the chimes and then start...but sometimes it wouldnt power on. Typically opening the door, doing a rain dance would fix it, but on one occasion I drove 45 minutes home without anything cause I couldnt get it to come back on. I tried for 15 minutes.

So anyway, I sent him the video and hopefully it is a program glitch and not anything to do with hardware, I don't see him shipping out pieces of hardware to fix/replace anything.

Second, I also provided him a video detailing where on the screen the temperature reading used to be. Asked for him to work on replacing it and also with the option of Fahrenheit this time.

I'll let you know if I hear anything, but I would also suggest if you are having power issues to email him as well. At least he won't think I am the only one.

I asked a few pages ago but did not see any answers. Does this work with the HUD at all. IE will I see the song that is playing, will I see the navigation instructions, and so forth. Also will the HUD lose any of its functionality like speed and temp display?

HUD works to show speed and direction. Not sure about nav because I didn't have the nav stock unit. Does not show navigation directions between the Hices and HUD. It also does not show the name of the song
