Um, er, no comment. Let's just say that my dealer isn't my source for accurate/timely information.

On that note, I got an update today, car is long since left the striping plant and is now nearly completed with QC and repairs. Thankfully, I was not impacted by the power-steering pumps or the window-actuators, so if all goes well, the best case scenario is I should be back from QC tomorrow and onto a rail Saturday (and this is the automobile industry here, so best case scenario is not always what plays out... as we all know).

I have CGM Stripes with a VIN of 2G1FK1EJ9A9110279. Can you look inot this one?

Over 10,000, is that good for QC issues? Wern't most things cleared up by this time and fixed on the line?

Honestly, and this is not intended to be a jerk although it may sound that way, but if your VIN is over 10K, you shouldn't even be asking where your car is yet.

dammit 2 hell i ordered same color combo on my LT2 --and the car has disappeared as of 5/15 in 4B00 status....dammit...it's going to be June?! I went to Chevy launch and 3 people(2 SS's and 1 LT) got their car before me and dealer was amping up the fact i was their first preorder. I just had to have those damn white rally stripes...now I'm paying for it.

Breathe in... breathe out. It's not the stripes holding you back now, most likely it's one or more of a few things: battery cable, power-steering pump, window actuators or backlog.... with backlog being worked through even on the weekends, as the GM team works to get things back to running smoothly/as intended.

You made the right call with factory stripes.. anything factory installed carries a higher value down the road.
