Front brake swap

Hello All-

I'm swapping the front brakes of my 2012 LT into the new 2013 SS brembo brakes. The set I got has no mounting bolts on the caliper(2 each side) and on my recent post, all said that my bolt will not fit anymore.

I called the dealer parts and somehow can't give which caliper bolt I need until I gave them the eight digit vin number of the car.

Does anyone know the part number so I can just purchase it?

Thanks for the assistance.

Just go to the dealer, read the vin off of a SS, go to parts dept. and give them that vin..

or look on eBay for a SS, get vin, call dealer

I called the dealer as well and they need the same last 8 digit of the vin...the problem is I do not know the vin number of the SS the brake came from.

The bolts didn't change year to year. Any SS vin will be fine.

My last 8 are: A9110859

should be able to use those no problem.

Gmpartshouse.com will get you the parts. Why buy from the dealer?

Amazon has parts too, oh but maybe not the bolts. I did the swap and used all my OE hardware

Sure. The fronts are a direct swap, Bolt off, bolt on..the rears need some mods like ss brake hoses and either replace the backing plate or trim it but the fronts don't need anything special

remember your spare (if you have it) won't fit over the Brembo brakes

In case you do decide to get new bolts. I purchased them from here, no vin required.

11515781 Front brakes, need 4

11570788 Rear brakes, need 4
