Injen CAI Window Washer Reservoir Bottle Issue

I hooked up my Injen CAI tonight and tooled around town a little bit to test it out (it works, btw).

When I got back, I started putting my car completely back together. This included putting mats and stuff back in the trunk and adding window wiper fluid. Everything looked good until the fluid started leaking out of the bottom of the reservoir. I knew exactly why, though.

When I was assembling the reservoir earlier, I noticed the black, rubber, reservoir pump grommet just sat in the hole in the Injen Reservoir instead of fitting snug like in the OEM, stock reservoir. So that's why it was leaking.

Did anyone else have this issue? Or did I just get a faulty part where they drilled the hole too big? If you've installed an Injen CAI, let me know.

Mine was fine too. I'm guessing you didn't push it all the way down. Mine looked like it was in but when I looked closer to make sure I noticed it was close but I had to push it a few more times..

I am ok.......mine's snug, but the pump is leaning out a bit. I figured that was normal.

No leaks here, and the pump does have a bit of lean to it. Make sure you pushed the grommet in all the way, just to be sure.

OK. I'm going to call Injen, because mine sits in that hole and I can move it around. The Injen reservoir hole is to big. Thanks, fellas.

I just called AutoAnything and explained. They called Injen and called me back. The new reservoir is on the way. Weird issue, but should be solved soon.

Just finished installing my Injen, was able to do it without taking the tire off by turning the wheels all the way to the left. On the issue with the grommet hole on the water bottle, the grommet was loose fitting but when I put the pump on it tightened up and was able to snap the pump into the bottle, so far no leaks. It's late will take it out tomorrow and also post some pics.

Same for me on the one I installed a few hours ago. I just sealed the insert with liquid electrical tape should hold...
