For drag racing
Maybe try a reservoir like Stephen12ZL1 has. Use ice along with the HX to help for Drag racing. Fill with ice and make a run, then drain any water and refill with ice for your next run. Just bring ice in a cooler for racing. DP3 makes a nice one that is easy to fill and drain for racing.

It's the hx itself I'm waiting to see some testing on. I'm very curious as to which one works the best and which one (aside from the stocker) blocks air to the radiator the least. |

Especially for street use and ¼ mile I would add AI Chiller to that list, nothing cools like refrigeration!
Yes I would expect Super Chiller could void AC warranty. Powertech Performance is local to me he is doing our first 2014 ZL1 AI Super Chiller installation in 2 weeks along with typical boost upgrades. This car will be tuned by Tampa Tuning, Phil should have Dyno feedback for us! I also like the Lingenfelter reservoir. Powertech does blower upgrades and much more for some of the local GM dealers, I know if it goes through the dealership they honor all factory warranty. I have had many customers all over the states tell me about dealerships that do upgrades and honor factory warranty one way or another but I believe this is done under the radar. I know one situation where an engine was lost, the dealership bought a new computer so the flash counts would not show the car was performance tuned and GM covered the entire job. As said I believe this goes on under the radar and as long as the dealership is in good standing GM lets it slide. |

I tried googling at the brand names listed above and I could not find them on the Web. Could anyone provide a reliable link or a complete company name that might come up in a google search?.

Anybody use the Livernois heat exchanger? It's quite expensive compared to the others. Is there a reason for it or is it just overpriced?
I personally don't want to mess with chillers or anything that involves my A/C. I just want to simply improve upon the factory cooling. |

I am the person TrekGto is building the SuperChiller for. I met with TrekGto (David) last Friday, and I was quite impressed with his device. He showed me all the components and explained to me in depth all aspects of how it worked and was easily installed without much if any intrusion. I expect to receive the SuperChiller in about 2 weeks, and I will all know how it went. It seems like it will be an excellent step to take, because whats the sense in making power upgrades, if it cannot maintain it due to heat soak from the intercooler?. One of the nicest things about David is when I met him to talk about the device, he wouldn't take any money from me upfront, he wanted to put the order together and then get paid. (not many people say no) when you waive a few hundred dollars in their face as a down payment. So in a few weeks I will post the outcome.

That's funny when I talked to Dave he wanted a $400 deposit and a 2 month wait.

Baer383, that unit you have does not tap into the A/C unit right?. It just replaces the stock heat exchanger or something?.
