TO Tune or Not to Tune ......

So .... while trying to avoiding the inevitable "warranty" issue .... Question for all who know best.
I am currently running a 5% with a Roto-Fab and Catch Can as my ONLY Mods to date. Came across a set of 65# injectors (thx Smitty) and plan to do Headers, TB, 10% and Cats SOON .... issue is not real soon ....maybe spring.

Read a couple posts here and others that say "used injectors" have a short shelf-life ... my question is can I install the 65# injectors and NOT REQUIRE A TUNE till post 10% ect.? ...(do my Headers and other Mods later) ..... Obviously bought injectors for future mods but afraid to wait to install them.

Dont want them to just sit and go "bad"

thx in advance for the help!

No, you can't just change injectors without tuning. It will flood out the engine. The PCM MUST know the size of the injectors in order to control them properly. Hence you must change the injector constants in the tune.
