FIRST TIME CAMARO OWNER - 3 LT SHOCK AND STEEL SPECIAL EDITION
Hello Everyone, soon to be a first time Camaro owner out of Canada!
Order: May 27, 2023 Status 3000 June 12, 2023 Code 3400 as of June 24, 2023 TPW: July 10th, 2023 2023 3LT Shock and Steel Special Edition with the A10 Transmission, Black It's unreal how excited I am to finally own this beautiful car! I was very lucky to get an allocation and have my order filled this quickly! Curious to see how rare this package is going to be for Canada as I've never seen one for sale, as well I verified with the Camaro group for my city no one has one nor have they seen one! |

My car hit the dealer lot today! I can't believe it traveled all the way across the country since my 6-13 build date. I guess there is no shortage of railcars afterall!

A few of us had 6/13 dates. You seem to be the first to get yours and you may be the farthest away. It’s quite the lottery, and you won.

Mine was built on 6/13 as well and it's still sitting at JCT waiting for a truck. This has been the worst part of the order process by FAR!

My car has been produced and it is “next in line to be built into a load”. My guess is it will be by truck since it’s in Illinois but not entirely sure. Expect maybe a few days till delivery once it’s in a load, but sounds like people have waited a long time to get on a truck…?

Anyone else feel like they are never going to get the Camaro they ordered. I ordered my 2023 on the first day of ordering back in April 2022. Unfortunately there were 4 carry over orders in front of me from those years that didn't exist, ie '20, '21. My allocation finally came through May 11 that Chevy had finally accepted my order. TPW June 19, yup that came and went and I was bumped to TPW June 26. You guessed it bumped again this time till TPW of July 17!! I thought I was going to loose it. At this point I've already unloaded my primary daily driver due to the dealership almost guaranteeing, I know they can't. The car would arrive no later then July 20th due to current receivership rate of Camaro's at that dealer. When I pressed Chevy on why my TPW has changed now 3 different times and we are a month out from now producing the car, they cited semi-conductor supplier issues. Well I guess I have a reason.
So I ask everyone else who has had a car on order over the last year how many times did you TPW get changed, and were you also told it was over supplier simi-conductor issues? I guess I should be thankful Im out of allocation hell, however this is still a bummer. Summer will almost be over by the time my Camaro arrives at the dealer. |

Were your dates bumped out before the current date had arrived, or after?

I ordered a pretty high spec 2SS with magride and active exhaust. No sunroof. My guess since it seems like all these other cars are getting built, and it must be Magride simi-conductor parts. It’s not like there isn’t Camaros rolling off the line…. Just most don’t have MR unless it’s a 1le or Zl1 |
