Quarter Flares-- Just Me?
First off, wanted to say Hi to everyone.. first post, other than requesting an order check from Becky. (Thank You again Becky!!)
Anyways, back on point. I have a 2SS/RS on order. May see it someday.. (feels that way at least) I did not get ground effects on it because I hate that Chevy doesnt paint them! Sure, you can get them painted aftermarket.. but all my money will be tied up in car payments.. so no body shop work for me. Inferno Orange metallic, and gray plastic.. not really a great color scheme to me at least. So instead of going the ground effects route, I ordered Quarter Flares. After looking at thousands of Camaro pics, reading all the threads here (there are alot..) I havent seen one mention of them. Not one. Never seen any on a Camaro on the road, never seen any in pictures, I cant be the first person EVER to get them.. I mean come on. But in all sincerity, does anyone else have them?  And if you do, how do you like them?  Perhaps I can be a trend setter. Oh, and for the record, Camaro5 rocks. Every internet search on Camaro's brought me here in one form or another, so.. I figured why not join? If you cant beat them.. Cruise the streets with them !!

I have them on my yellow. Keeps the rear quarter panel much cleaner.

I just had a set custom painted in white. There are plenty of threads on these.
Everyone who has them claim the rock chips around the gills stopped after they put these on. |

I have the GM splash guards on mine... I like the look, but I (like so many others) got them to protect against rock chips in the paint.
Available prepainted from GMPartsDirect for around $160 shipped. Search for "splash guards" and you'll find numerous threads with a lot of pics and even more opinions...
