I am leaving in Feb, see you over there...I am storing mine in my garage and aggressively paying it off to make a stronger trade on the Z-28 or Caddy V- when I get back.

Currently doing a year myself, back in May 2011.
I kept mine, stored it and making an extra payment a month, it will be nearly paid for when I get back. Its up to you, you can get back and have payments on a new car or have your car that you build your way waiting for when you get back and possibly have it nearly paid for. If you do store it, get a Battery Tender, put in fuel treatment, oil change and if you dont lift it off the ground, have somebody move it every few weeks or so to not develop flat spots on the tires if you have the Pirrellis. Either way good luck. |

Sell now buy later. While you are deployed stop by the AAFES car sales. They may be able to get the car you want and have it shipped and waiting at the location of your choice for when you get back. Nothing would be sweeter than to have your new car waiting for you. When my husband and I delpoyed to Iraq, we sold are Harleys. Bought new and improved ones after we returned and settled down.

If you're putting it back to stock, does that include the heritage rims(love the heritage rims) and how much are you thinking of selling it for? I have a checkbook and am not afraid to use it.
