GO WITH OPTION #3 , there is no question the best , that will live your folks garage free , you will not drive it during that time anyway , the cash will /can be on a CD or invested till you are back therefor earning interest , no need for insurance, and when you are back home you will have the time and piece of mind to see the all thing very clear right there and then you will be able to make the best with what you really want . Sorry to report GM is not sold through AAFES now. I looke into it here at Kunsan AB, ROK for a possible Z28 order/purchase on my return. They on sell Ford, Jeep and Chrysler.

I can understand why you would consider those two options, I agree with others that u would be better off selling now and getting the SS when you get back, especially if the V6 isn't impressing you.
