Dual Clutch Transmission
Is there anyway of custom ordering a Dual Clutch Transmission or modifying one used on another car?

I wish GM would do some R&D into an auto like VW's DSG. Automatic shifting dual clutch standard transmission? yes please.

With enough money, you can do anything.
Of course, the money you have to spend could start taking you into Z06 or CTS-V territory very quickly |

That was a joke. ha Tried sparking some interest, conversation, ideas, etc.
But, Chevy should really look into it. Most other companies are producing them now. Rumors have it that the C7 Corvette is getting one.

A stock LS3 would be on the doorstep of that trannys torque limit. Assuming it could fit and you could make an adaptor so it would bolt up one set of Long Tubes would be all you need to be over the limits of it's capabilities. Then you might end up with an expensive pile of cogs under your car.
