Stupid stripe question

First let me apologize in advance for what will probably be a stupid question, but I'm just not smart on the stripe color stuff. I just bought an IBM with the silver stripes. My question is, if I want to paint my emblems to match my stripes, can I assume the silver stripes are the same color as the silver paint on the silver camaros? Or am I completely wrong on this? If they are the same, then I could just get some factory paint to do it correct?

My next question is does anyone make factory color paint in some sort of spray can, that I can use, or will I need to buy touchup paint and do it that way?

No, I would not assume that. The selection of stripe colors was picked to contrast with the paint colors rather than match them - however close they come to paint colors is probably purely coincidental...

Just try to identify some paint that's close to your stripe color go go with that. It'll probably cost a third of what you'd pay for oem color touch-up paint anyway.
