Thinking about this! How much louder would the kooks headers and catback3" be than kooks headers with stock l99 exhaust ilike that quiter sound at idle and cruising but deep amd throaty at wot

There is a video on YouTube that shows the install of the headers and the guy is using the stock exhaust and it sounds good. Hope that helps.

The Kooks 3" exhaust is pretty loud and has a some drone to it. The Kooks 2.5" exhaust on the other hand has a great deep tone, but no drone.

a lot of people here just reuse the stock ones. I put kooks gaskets on and it leaked on both sides.

I installed new gaskets from GM and no leaks.
My advice would be just get new ones for $25 each. It would of saved me a lot of money.
