Exactly!! It's taking away from our year! That's why putting in the order right after winter was perfect.. I couldn't have used it most of this horrible winter.. Plus I didn't want to have to pay for it all winter and I figured production kicked back into gear there wouldn't be a whole lot of exactly what's going on right now. lol That's life I guess, things rarely work out as planned..

I do have to say, it's been my experience to give chevy at least 12 -14 weeks to get a car on the west coast delivered. But to see all these 1LE cars not getting delivered is really kinda wierd, but then myssle got his in canada?? And his build date was a week after ours? Is there ZL1's getting delivered? Is it the tire thing, maybe chevy don't want to deal with it? Weird?

Becky, can you please check and see if my poor, freezing cold car might be making its way west?

A little excited today that I went in and took care of the financing

It did not come without any surprises though. Even though right rally stripes in an option on the build site (which is what I wanted), I was told white stripes is not an option for the 2014 models because of the hood scoop. So the dealer worked it out with the local aftermarket company to put them on. It will cost $1000 (also getting a stripe down the front fender and gill stripes) and not included in the financing. Thats fine because I'll just deduct that from my down payment when I turn that in next week.

Car's sitting at the Tacoma Port It take 2 weeks (by barge!!) to get to Anchorage and then another 7 hrs to get to Fairbanks

So yea, mixed emotions

Hi Becky,

I have been receiving production codes from my local dealer since my ZL1 was assembled in March. The last code I was given, 4300, suggested that the vehicle had shipped from the factory and was at some intermediate location. I called Chevrolet Customer Service today and opened a case (Case #71-1292851945). I gave them my Order # RQBGTF and my vehicle VIN. It has been 3 weeks since I was told the vehicle shipped and 1 week past the delivery date on the Dealer Invoice. Customer Service checked and told me that my vehicle was sitting at the factory and had not shipped yet pending availability of rail cars!!! I am really confused and upset about this conflict of information. Please excuse the venting, I know that you have been a big help in straightening things out and shipping issues are not your fault. But, if you can help me figure out what is going on, I would be very grateful!

Yes the railcars ...as I found, and posted are a supply issue..

The invoice date you reference is a not a delivery date...
it is a targeted date that is computer generated at the time of invoice.
...
At least the info...you have now, ...mirrors the info that I have told you....

I would expect to see shipments to begin very soon....

Thank you Becky! I emailed Maureen to get pricing on RRM ZL1 Rockers for my 1LE as I want them here when my car arrives and put them on right away. I did not hear back from her. Can you help me out? I don't need them shipped...I can just pick them up.
