FS: Solo High Flows cats for V8 L99 $450 OBO free shipping SOLD

Hello - I purchased these 2 months ago and put about 1200 miles on them, but they're too loud for me with the Borla exhaust I have. Will post pics of the actual cats upon request. These were installed AND removed by the same shop - Tillman Speed in Aston, PA.

$450 for the pair, will ship anywhere, ground service. Will also meet any potential serious buyers for inspection.

So how loud is "too" loud? I'm interested and have been thinking about getting these for a while now, but I'm a bit concerned about how loud they really are.

My co-worker has a '13 Mustang with deleted CATs and mufflers and his is just too damn loud (I can hear it in the back of our office when he's parked out front)

Currently I have the Solo axle back muffler delete and it sounds more aggressive, but not quite as much as I'd like.....but I don't want to go overboard either.

Well, it's kind of relative to personal preference, but I thought I wanted loud but then didn't really like it. I like loud on the outside but it's hard to get that without some loud on the inside, which I didn't like. I currently have just a Borla S-type exhaust on my SS, and even that is a little too loud on the inside for me. I probably should have gone with the Touring model. The incremental loudness of having the HF cats on was not huge. Meaning, when I took them off, the loudness didn't really decrease as much as I had hoped, which meant most of it was coming from the exhaust. With the stock exhaust, the HF cats added just enough growl to add some excitement to the tone, but I wanted more (or so I thought). Anyway, hope that helps.
