Can a Chev dealer do warranty work on a Caddilac?
I was just curious if one GM dealership could do warranty work on all four current brands, or if the dealer had to be a selling dealer of that specific brand to work on it. Like taking a cadillac into a chev dealership for warranty work , or taking a chev truck into a gmc dealership for warranty work.

Any GM Dealership can do warranty work on "almost" any GM vehicle.
So yes. There are exceptions...ie:,the new Stingray and the Volt. Dealerships have to be certified as Volt and/or Corvette Dealerships to do warranty work on these.....as they require special training and tools. |

Not relevant to warranty work, but they can also work on any brand vehicle they choose. There was a woman in line before me, a few months back, having work done on her Mustang. Just weird if you ask me, especially with the Ford dealer right next door. Guess their service isn't very good.
