Can a Chev dealer do warranty work on a Caddilac?

I was just curious if one GM dealership could do warranty work on all four current brands, or if the dealer had to be a selling dealer of that specific brand to work on it. Like taking a cadillac into a chev dealership for warranty work , or taking a chev truck into a gmc dealership for warranty work.

Any GM Dealership can do warranty work on "almost" any GM vehicle.
So yes.
There are exceptions...ie:,the new Stingray and the Volt.
Dealerships have to be certified as Volt and/or Corvette Dealerships to do warranty work on these.....as they require special training and tools.

Not relevant to warranty work, but they can also work on any brand vehicle they choose. There was a woman in line before me, a few months back, having work done on her Mustang. Just weird if you ask me, especially with the Ford dealer right next door. Guess their service isn't very good.
