Keep me in mind. I am always up for selling and then upgrading. I have a no sunroof M6. I have family in Michigan and plan on buying my next one from Becky D so maybe we can work something out to meet there or have it shipped.

Did you do the dash yourself or was it done at a shop? I really wanna do that to mine but a local shop told me they could not do it. I know there are DIY threads for this but I don't wanna screw my car up...

Looks awesome! How'd you go about it?

That's exactly what I've been wanting to do to mine!

I would never try to do this lighting by myself. A shop in michigan did it for me...it took them 5 hours of labor to install it properly. I was the first customer they had that wanted it...so they wanted to see if they could do it. They used oracle aqua blue lighting. They wired it so it comes on when i manually turn my halos or lights on.

BTW...the dash light makes the "45th" emblem glow beautifully at night.

The 45th Anniversary package on the 2SS/RS is very stylish! It includes a Carbon Flash Metallic exterior color, a Brilliant Red/Medium Charcoal Stripe Package, 20" x 8" front and 20" x 9" rear Deep Silver painted aluminum wheels, black front seats with leather seating surfaces and 45th Anniversary embroidered logo, and unique stitching on seats, headrests, steering wheel and shifter. Also included in the package are high intensity discharge headlamps, unique fog lamps and tail lamps bezel finish and interior and exterior badging. If getting the Coupe, it also includes body-color roof ditch molding and the Convertible also includes the black convertible top.

I am sure it is very tempting. The best thing to do if you decided to get it a year from now is to get one Certified Pre-Owned. This gives peace of mind because it comes with an extra 12 month/ 12,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.

I haven't been following this thread so this MAY have already been posted but just in case... Available at Sears / Sears.com:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/chevrolet...SPM7093539702P

The shipping is idiotic but it is still probably cheaper than the Chevy mall website.

I also found a few on ebay for as cheap as $6.00. I didn't order just one... : p

I got the 5th coat of synthetic was on the car today. Starting to get some protection down and the shine is starting to look pretty good if I say so myself.

45th emblems

I will be picking up our 2012 victory red convertible on Monday. I have a pair of 45th emblems I want to put on the car because I am proud the Camaro is celebrating it's 45th anniversary. My question is should I put them in the same location as on the 45th edition or maybe use one on the custom painted engine cover I will be doing and one on the dashboard?
any other suggestions?

Thanks for posting - I picked up 3 of these off of eBay after I read this. One for the office, one for the study at home and one to give my son when he turns 16. Then I can say, "Son, here's your first Camaro - cause you damn sure ain't getting mine!"
