FREE OIL CHANGE!!!...but a lil worried???

Soooooooooooo, i went to my local chevy service shop to get my oil changed, and after it was all said and done i whipped out a $100 bill and the service girl said it was free!!!now the last time i went there i had to pay so that threw me for a loop, i just looked at her smiled and said thanks
P.S. i did not buy the car there, i bought it out in pennsylvaina.
the only thing im worried about is them putting the right oil in there and not that cheap garbage Should i be worried???

My dealer offered free oil changes, and when I , out of curiousity, asked if they used DEXOS1 oil, they said they never heard of it, and would use whatever they had in the barrel. Nope, do it myself, if a Chevy dealer doesn't know what they are supposed to use.

My dealership puts Mobil 1 in the SSs, whether free or paying full price. Still wouldn't hurt to verify though. You could also ask why the free deal. GM called me a few days ago asking about my last service experience. In return for answering about 4 questions they sent me a $100 voucher toward my next service. Just in time for Saturday's oil change.

After I bought my car back in January "this year". I went and got an oil change using mobil 1 oil. Didn't want to take a chance what the dealership put in.
