Chiclet and Gm performance badges
I understand the chiclet was stopped after bankruptcy but I'm not sure about the true meaning of the Gm performance division emblem under my hood , what us it's significance ???
I have both on my 2010 rs/ss |

It was on the early 2010 model year cars, if my understanding is correct. Just an aesthetic thing.

The GM Performance badge was on the SS for 2010-11 if I recall correctly, because it was the top-model Camaro. For 2012 it was only on the ZL1, in 2013 it got added to the 1LE as well, and for 2014 the ZL1, 1LE, and Z/28 have them. I believe those are the only models that have it right now.

I thought it was stopped only during bankruptcy and then started up again after they paid their "debt". Can anyone confirm?
OP brought up a good question. I would love to know more. P.S. On my page, there's a Ford sales banner just above poster Tenring ^and it shows the Fusion, Mustang, etc. Ha Ha! |
