How dark is your tint?

Hello all,

I plan on tinting my windows on my new camaro pretty soon. I was wondering, with some of the visibility issues and do you recommend for my percentage. I'm not really worried about being pulled over, and my range is probably 20-35%.

So what percentage did you do? Do you wish you went lighter? Darker? And has your tiny caused you any visibility issues.

I have 20% all around except the windshield.

Great during the day....little hard at night in terms of being able to look out the side mirrors or rear view mirror. However, I really like it, so I wouldn't trade it for any lighter.

Hi There, here in oregon the rules are no darker than 30%. After speaking with Johnny Law they do not have a problem with 20%. I havent been pulled over for it.

20% looks nice. Limo tint here and they will hit the lights and siren for you!
Cheers

Yeah you have much less chance of being popped for 20-35% tint versus anything under 20.

I'm considering 5% (limo) across the back and for the driver/passenger windows 15%.

Always throw the windows down when you see a cop.

I have 35% on the door windows, and 20% on the quarter windows. I figure the quarter windows are small enough that the law enforcement hopefully wouldn't notice them being darker than the legal limit of 30% here in Oregon.

Wish I could do 20% all the way, but I don't want to take the chance of getting pulled over for a BS reason like tint too dark.

35% on all windows except for windshield. Wish I had 20% (15%) but where I live the LEO pull over people all the time for illegal tint.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

50% on the side, 40% on the back. I live in NYC, so I didn't want to get the sides too dark. It looks dark enough. I have a black car with a black interior. I was mostly concerned with UV/heat blocking, which is why I went with 3M Crystalline tint.
